A mid-summer-afternoon rain

How many times do you actually think in a day. Life has become mundane and mechanical. Most of the work that we do everyday requires minimum or no thinking. Life becomes a habit. There is no stimulation of thought or new ideas. And this wheel of life keeps rolling on.

Till one day, when it rains during mid-afternoon. You feel that there is so much to do outside the office building. There is so much in life we miss out on because we need to build a career. Is being a slug such a horrible thing. I mean is being unambitious that big a flaw that it is frowned upon. Specially when ambition these days means only professional ambition. "He who has no ambition in life is absolutely useless, and will achieve nothing in life". Why is that? If my ambition is to ride a motorcycle all my life, if that makes me happy and satiated then is it really that outrageous?

Ambition is what makes you happy. Ambition inspires you. Having an ambition is is not binding yourself to a certain task. Its not defining who/what you wanna be by the end of your life.

Ambition is what gives your life a direction, a purpose. I do not think ambition is a goal. Ambitions should be volatile and abstract. Wake up each day, and have a new ambition. If you haven't changed your ambition at least 10 times in your life so far, you have got to start living your life. Get a new ambition in life everyday.  Don't limit your life's purpose to one dream, to one goal.

See what a mid-summer afternoon rain can do to you...

  1. hey !well , nice thought i hope you know why i liked this particular one , because "i shall say i have so many ambitions"or may be i wana do so many things ,the problem is where should i start from hehehe . well , that makes me feel happy at least for while .

But here is one point i may add ,
seeting targets having goals is a never eneding task you keep seeting goals you keep setting targets , wether in profesional life , wether in personal like i wana get that salary hike by that date , i wana get married b that time , those all the goals and ""mini me "" ambitions that we keep setting all our lifes in form or the other , and all these keep us driving . have we ever thought of being ambitionless? that feeling of free light cloud , floating .!

till we enjoy ambitions no matter how many they are they always welcome , but at a time we should just shun away all ambitions and goals , and experience the emptiness.

i hope that dosnt sound like i am the one who has already experienced it , but i feel its like a meditation technique , i working towards it , and i already njoying it .!

@shubham and not the thought !I just cant get what does your last line mean why was it necessary, i mean the article would not appeal to some and that makes you so concious enuf that you mention it as your ending note . i think you lost there after such a brillliant thought process , it shows you wrote it appeal to those people to whome this article would not appeal.
could have given a better and powerful ending maintaining your thought process and leaving behind "Kuch toh log kahen gey part ".

Otherwise a good start .please continue it i think it lacks a good conclusion
